Designed for projection: huge digits, a colour change for the final ten seconds, an audible alarm, and a fullscreen button so the timer fills the whiteboard. The presets cover the common classroom intervals — one-minute think time, five-minute tasks, ten-minute group work — and you can set any custom duration up to three hours.
Visible countdowns change task pacing: students self-regulate instead of being chased, and transitions get sharper. The alarm is generated in the browser (no audio file to fail), though note most browsers require one interaction with the page before they allow sound — clicking Start counts.
