Paste your list, choose either a number of groups or a group size, and the tool shuffles everyone with a Fisher–Yates shuffle before dealing them out round-robin — so group sizes never differ by more than one person and the allocation is genuinely random, not alphabetical-in-disguise.

Random grouping breaks up friendship cliques and ability clustering without anyone being able to argue with the result. Regroup as often as you like; each click is a fresh shuffle. For picking a single student rather than teams, try the name picker or wheel.
